Hello, friend! Today, I have an exciting announcement!  Over the past few months, I have had the privilege of working with some fellow young Christian authors in the process of writing and publishing an anthology.  This is the first book I have ever seen my name in, so I've had some exciting moments.  Today, being the release date, is one of them. Now, with that introduction, I would like to share a Q&A with some of the authors (including me 😉): Why did you want to write Unmasked?   I wanted to write Unmasked because I was sad about the state of the world around me during 2020. Hope is an important topic to me, especially over the past year.  We all know 2020, and the first few months of 2021, have been crazy.  For me at least, very few things went "as planned."  Being quarantined more than a few times, I found it easier and easier to spiral into a state of pure depression.  During those long, challenging days in March, April, May, and then again in September, December, March (a year later), I began to truly understand the concept of hope. Because music seems to be a special language to me, I ended up with an entire playlist within just a few days.  I know I'm not the only one in need of hope. Hey there!  I know I haven't posted in a month, not since my last announcement, but I think there's a good reason! If you look at my homepage, or really any page, you might notice a few things I updated.  Any guesses? First off, I decided to finally go and get myself a logo.  I had been messing around for months, but had zero ideas, and got nowhere.  Finally, I was led to FreeLogoDesign , where I finally ended up with this!   Notice anything else?  If you look carefully on the homepage, right below my logo, you may notice a little button with the word "subscribe" on it.  If you want to click on that and enter your email address, you will receive an email notifying you whenever I post something new.  I don't know about you, but that makes me a tad bit excited.  Just a tad. The first anniversary of my blog is coming up soon (the sixteenth of March, to be specific,) and I am excited! So, because who doesn't want something to celebrate, I decided to do something special.  (And yes, I may or may not be sitting at my keyboard with an overly suspicious grin on my face.) Look at our world today, The broken state in which we live. We are all hurting, In need of a Savior. People are dying, Tensions are rising, Yet no one seems to care. Why do we care Only about opinions, Who's right or wrong? Maybe politics aren't final, Perhaps they're not the answer? What if we considered love? Why is it not the determining factor? It doesn't matter whose side you are on.  Turn on the evening news for a minute, and it's obvious that our world is in a broken and desperate state.  Please, if you're reading this, take a moment to join me in prayer for our country and our world.
