New Announcement!

The first anniversary of my blog is coming up soon (the sixteenth of March, to be specific,) and I am excited!

So, because who doesn't want something to celebrate, I decided to do something special.  (And yes, I may or may not be sitting at my keyboard with an overly suspicious grin on my face.)

And yes, I will keep postponing this announcement for as long as I possibly can. *laughs evily*

Anyway, can you guess what poems, snippets of fictional stories, lessons (and stories) from my life, random ramblings, and favorite songs all have in common?

You guessed it!  (Hmm... Or did you?...  Maybe, maybe not)  I'm going to start an email list!

That's right!  I'm committing to a (hopefully) more consistent schedule than the random posts here on my blog (sorry about that unpredictability, by the way).  I promise I won't flood your inbox, begging for attention.  I won't be annoying.  I dislike spam as much as the next guy, maybe even more.  You get the idea?

Does one email a month sound like too much?  No?  I didn't think so.

Hope is an important topic to me, especially over the past year.  We all know 2020, and the first few months of 2021, have been crazy.  For me at least, very few things went "as planned."  Being quarantined more than a few times, I found it easier and easier to spiral into a state of pure depression.  During those long, challenging days in March, April, May, and then again in September, December, March (a year later), I began to truly understand the concept of hope.
