Email List + Blog Update!

Hey there!  I know I haven't posted in a month, not since my last announcement, but I think there's a good reason!


If you look at my homepage, or really any page, you might notice a few things I updated.  Any guesses?


First off, I decided to finally go and get myself a logo.  I had been messing around for months, but had zero ideas, and got nowhere.  Finally, I was led to FreeLogoDesign, where I finally ended up with this!  

Notice anything else?  If you look carefully on the homepage, right below my logo, you may notice a little button with the word "subscribe" on it.  If you want to click on that and enter your email address, you will receive an email notifying you whenever I post something new.  I don't know about you, but that makes me a tad bit excited.  Just a tad.


And, of course I couldn't end this post without my biggest and most exciting update!  Yep, as promised in my previous post, I finally have an email list!  I know it's a day late, but I did create it just in time to (generally, at least-- ha!) celebrate the one-year anniversary of my having a blog!  I honestly didn't believe I would make it this far!




(Oh, one more thing... there may or may not be another guest post coming from a friend of mine... and it may or may not be the introduction to a new series... we'll see 😉)

Hope is an important topic to me, especially over the past year.  We all know 2020, and the first few months of 2021, have been crazy.  For me at least, very few things went "as planned."  Being quarantined more than a few times, I found it easier and easier to spiral into a state of pure depression.  During those long, challenging days in March, April, May, and then again in September, December, March (a year later), I began to truly understand the concept of hope. Interview with Ava Rose Scott

Hello again, friends!  I'm here this time with an interview with my friend and author Ava Rose Scott, in which we discuss her published book, For All of Them Lost.   Let me tell you, if you have the opportunity to read this book, it is so worth it.  Her story, characters, and poetry is all so beautiful.
