The Truth of The Gospel

In the beginning, God created a perfect world. He then created humans in His image to have a perfect relationship with Him. After came the fall, where our perfect relationship became broken because of the sinful choices man had made. We became separated from God. The Lord promised a New Kingdom to his people, which includes all the nations, for the first kingdom was lost. He chose to create a Holy Nation through Abraham, which became Israel. The Israelites came to live in the Promised Land and live under the law and king, which God gave them. God then sent prophets to tell all that there was a Son of God who would take the form of man to live the life we should have lived and die the death we should have died. Jesus Christ came and fulfilled those prophecies, living a life of service and miracles, proving His position as the Son of God. He then died a sacrificial death so that whoever believes in Him can be reconciled with God and live an eternal life with Him in heaven. He came back to life, proving that He was stronger than death. After returning to His rightful place, the right hand of God,  Jesus gave the individual believer the gift of the Holy Spirit. When He departed from this world, He told all that He would one day return to this broken world to bring a new creation, new Jerusalem, and to take all his followers to this new creation to live with a new body and worship Christ for eternity. He has revealed this all to us through the Bible, God's holy Word.

Hope is an important topic to me, especially over the past year.  We all know 2020, and the first few months of 2021, have been crazy.  For me at least, very few things went "as planned."  Being quarantined more than a few times, I found it easier and easier to spiral into a state of pure depression.  During those long, challenging days in March, April, May, and then again in September, December, March (a year later), I began to truly understand the concept of hope. Because music seems to be a special language to me, I ended up with an entire playlist within just a few days.  I know I'm not the only one in need of hope. Hello again, friends!  I'm here this time with an interview with my friend and author Ava Rose Scott, in which we discuss her published book, For All of Them Lost.   Let me tell you, if you have the opportunity to read this book, it is so worth it.  Her story, characters, and poetry is all so beautiful.
